Ayodeji Balogun professionally known as Wizkid and fondly referred to as Star Boy is one of Nigeria’s most sought-after musicians with an estimated net worth of $14 million.
Wizkid reportedly owns two mansions in Nigeria and the United State. The Nigerian property is valued at N70 million (70 million Naira) and the other property is situated in Los Angeles.
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid is a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter, and record owner born on 16 July 1990. Wizkid started recording music at 11 and he, alongside a couple of his church friends named themselves the “Glorious Five” and released an album. The group’s fame never came to light like most groups, it died a natural death.
Wizkid rose to stardom after his hit single “Holla at your boy” from his “Superstar” debut was released. Songs like “Pakurumo”, “Don’t Dull”, “Tease Me/Bad Guy”, “Love My Baby”, and “Oluwa Lo Ni” were all released as singles from the “Superstar” album of 2011.

It was his second album while with E.M.E and the album was supported by six-hit singles such as: “On Top Your Matter”, “Bombay”, “One Question”, “Show You the Money” and “Joy”. Wizkid left EME the same year his second album was released, following the expiration of his contract.

Wizkid signed a 1-year deal with carbonated soft drink company, Pepsi, reportedly worth about $350,000 a year in 2012. The contract was renewed for two more years, taking the 3-year deal to $1,050,000 (one million and five thousand dollars). The soft drink company and musician have been in contract to date, taking the number of years to 8. In 2013, Wizkid signed an endorsement with alcohol company Guinness for an undisclosed amount for the “Guinness World of More” contract which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
Wizkid had a contract with South African telecommunication company, MTN but dumped the company to sign a mouth-watering N128 million deal with Nigeria indigenous telecommunication company, Globacom.
